Barbara spent thirteen years as an insurance agent with Prudential Financial.achieving the Million Dollar Round Table Award. Her licenses include: life insurance, property and casualty insurance, annuities and mutual funds.
Barbara spent eight years as head of DeRegis-Walser Monuments and developed a strong network of area professional associations such as Women Business Owners Connection, Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training, Women TIES, Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, Greater Oswego Chamber of Commerce, Syracuse Executives Association, Junior Achievement of Central New York In addition, she is a NYS licensed real estate salesperson.
Barbara completed business and entrepreneurship training with Syracuse University Start Up, Women's Business Center of New York State, Southwest Economics Business Resource Center, Appleseed Trust, SCORE, Federal Dollars and Sense Workshop, Authentic Leadership for Women, and Landmark Education Programs.
